The Pope has led an assembly of children in west London on day two of his four-day state visit to the UK.

After a prayer service with around 300 guests, Benedict XVI travelled in his Popemobile through the grounds of St Mary's University College in Twickenham.

Earlier thousands of people greeted him as he arrived amid tight security.
