Polly Peck tycoon Asil Nadir 'did not steal funds'

Lawyers acting for the businessman Asil Nadir have told the Old Bailey that the serious fraud office has known for 19 years that the millionaire is innocent.

Mr Nadir denies theft and false-accounting in relation to the collapse of the Polly-Peck group in 1991.
