Snow: What precautions should we take?

Many areas are waking up to their first snow of the winter and the Met Office has issued weather warnings for parts of Scotland, North East England, East Anglia, West Wales and Northern Ireland.

Drivers in particular are being warned to pay attention to the icy conditions.
