UK flights disrupted as snow closes airports

At least five airports in the UK have been closed because of adverse weather conditions, with knock-on effects to flights in Britain and across Europe.

Gatwick airport is to remain closed until at least 0600 GMT on Thursday and Edinburgh, Robin Hood, Guernsey and Durham Tees airports are all closed.

Five live travel reporter Nick Duncalf warns that flights at other airports are also likely to face disruption.
