Government relaxes snow-hit delivery drivers' hours

Transport Secretary Phil Hammond has said that the time lorry drivers can operate is being extended from nine to 10 hours, in an effort to get vital snow-hit supplies through.

Post and petrol deliveries have both been affected by dangerous driving conditions caused by the bad weather.
