Student on two-week university tuition fee protest

The National Union of Students has announced that peaceful protests will be held on campuses today, before MPs vote tomorrow on increasing tuition fees for higher education in England.

Students at the University of Leeds have been occupying a lecture theatre for the last fortnight. Their spokesperson is Georgia Emblen, and she told BBC Breakfast that bankers and big businesses should contribute to society as well as students.
