Wikileaks founder Julian Assange's legal team 'utterly delighted'
Mark Stephens, the lawyer for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, has said his legal team was "utterly delighted" to win bail, adding that his client was the victim of a "continued vendetta".
Mr Justice Ouseley granted conditional bail at the Royal Courts of Justice and supporters put up £240,000 in sureties.
Mr Assange faces questioning over sex allegations in Sweden involving two women. He denies the accusations.
Wikileaks has published 250,000 sensitive American diplomatic cables, details of which appeared in the press.
