RAF Typhoon jets on first ever combat missions

RAF Typhoon jets flew their first ever combat missions overnight while policing the Libyan no-fly zone.

The jets are part of a squadron of planes, including Tornados, which are based at Gioia Del Colle in southern Italy about an hour's flying time from Libya.

The BBC has spoken to some of the pilots who took part in the overnight missions.

Duncan Kennedy reports.
