New paternity rules 'weigh down' small firms

Parents can share childcare during their child's first year and take six months off work each under new rules which have come into effect.

The coalition government is hoping to introduce a fully, flexible system of parental leave in 2015.

Andrew Cave, from the Federation of Small Businesses, said the new rules would introduce additional red tape for firms.
