Libyan politicians fleeing to the UK who make a definitive break from Col Gaddafi's ruling authority could have restrictions on them lifted, William Hague has told the House of Commons.

The Foreign Secretary promised to treat those abandoning Libya with respect but said they would not receive immunity.
