Gruffalo author reacts to MBE honour

One of the people to receive an honour from the Queen this year is the well-loved children's author Julia Donaldson.

Donaldson has written hundreds of children's books including the Gruffalo - which came top in a survey of children's favourite books.

Donaldson, who received an MBE, was also made Children's Laureate this week.

She told the BBC she was honoured and flattered by the award.
