England riots: Under-18s make up half of court cases

Half of those appearing in courts in connection with this week's riots are under 18 years of age, and in Manchester a 12-year-old boy was among those sentenced on Thursday.

Across England some 1,500 people have been arrested in connection with the disturbances, and police forces are tracking more participants caught on CCTV all the time.

Chris Buckler reports.
