Man 'wins gastric bypass' fight

A man who was planning to take his case for obesity surgery to the European Court of Human Rights, has now been told he can have a gastric bypass.

Tom Condliff, who weighs 22 stone, made a second request for the operation.

The NHS trust in North Staffordshire overturned its earlier rejection saying his case was exceptional.
