An epic journey across the US for charity

A British man has completed an epic journey across the United States in order to raise money for charity.

Mark Allison ran 3,100 miles from California to New York City, passing through the Rocky Mountains and the Mojave Desert.

Now he is back home and taking part in the Great North Run on Sunday for a well deserved lap of honour.
