Tour some of the unused 'white elephant' 999 centres

A report by a group of MPs has concluded that a plan to reorganise fire control centres across England wasted almost half a billion pounds of taxpayers' money before ending in complete failure.

The project was supposed to replace 46 control rooms with nine regional centres, most of which remain empty.
