Should child cage-fighting be regulated?

A new debate has developed over whether children as young as eight were put at risk by wrestling in a cage while being watched by a crowd of adults. Organisers of the event say it was legal.

A video of the fight was posted on the internet and shows the boys wrestling without protective padding or headgear.

Lancashire Police were investigating but have now said there were "no issues" for officers to pursue.

Khalid Ismail is a cage fighter who also works with young people in East London. He spoke to the BBC and said the real issue was the adult environment the children were placed in.
