Police clear Dale Farm barricades

Bailiffs are expected to begin evicting travellers living at an illegal camp at Dale Farm in Essex, this morning.

Police were pelted with bricks and bottles on the first day of the operation and twenty three people were arrested during the clashes. Officers say they are now in full control of the site.
