Sinitta: Adoption process was 'gruelling'

The Prime Minister David Cameron is promising to take tough action against local authorities in England which fail to deal swiftly with adoption cases.

According to new figures, children wait an average of two years and seven months to be adopted.

Jon Holmes has described his experiences of being adopted as a baby, and singer Sinitta, who is the adoptive parent of two children, described the process as gruelling.
