St Paul's protest an accident of geography

For two weeks now St Paul's Cathedral has faced damaging headlines and criticism over its response to protesters camped outside the building.

Legal action to force the protesters out has been put on hold.

The stalemate has shaken the church's reputation and prompted the resignations of Canon Giles Fraser and the Cathedral's Dean, Graeme Knowles.

So how did it get to this point?
