Unison: 'There has been no offer' on pensions

Members of Britain's largest public service union have voted to stage a one-day strike over changes to their pensions.

Unison, which represents more than 1.1million workers including social workers, school dinner ladies and refuse collectors had asked its members to back industrial action.

On Wednesday, the union leaders rejected an improved pensions deal from the government.

Dave Prentis, the General Secretary of Unison, said it was wrong to even call it a real offer.
