Transport secretary: M5 police have 'harrowing' job
Transport Secretary Justine Greening has visited the scene of the fatal M5 collision.
Ms Greening extended her sympathy to the families of victims of the crash and thanked the "tremendous" work of the emergency services and local hospitals.
She acknowledged the work of the police, saying they still have a "harrowing and painstaking" job as they go through the remaining debris.
Police have removed all vehicles from the scene, but part of the M5 near Taunton is due to remain closed until at least Monday morning.
