Students set up tents in Trafalgar Square

Thousands of students are marching in London to protest against the government's higher education policies in England.

The Metropolitan Police advised that the march, organised by the National Campaign against Fees and Cuts, must keep to the designated route.

But as the march reached Trafalgar Square some broke away and set up tents near Nelson's Column.
