How the rise in deer is affecting bird population
The number of deer in the UK has risen dramatically in recent years, but that has had a big impact on the environment, and other wildlife.
Now, it is thought to have caused a decline in the number of songbirds, including the Nightingale.
The British Trust for Ornithology says the deer feed on low-level plants which are needed by many woodland birds for cover and nesting.
