Phone hacking: Leveson inquiry warning to editors

A judge beginning an inquiry into media practices has warned newspapers not to victimise inquiry witnesses who speak out against press intrusion.

Lord Justice Leveson is looking at the culture, practices and ethics of the press and if its self-regulation works.

Alleged phone-hacking victims will give evidence to the hearings, under way at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. Nick Higham reports.
