Paying the price as fuel costs rise

Petrol prices have been close to record highs for much of 2011 and with a fuel duty rise planned for January there seems little hope of relief for commuters and business owners.

More than 110,000 people have signed an online petition calling for the 3p per litre tax hike to be scrapped and MPs are to debate the high cost of fuel amid growing concerns.
