Leveson Inquiry: Media 'in dock' over phone hacking
The lawyer for 51 alleged victims of press intrusion has told the judge-led inquiry into media practices that the whole press stands in the dock.
Lord Justice Leveson is examining the media's culture, practices and ethics, and if self-regulation works.
Giving evidence, David Sherborne QC said the parents of the murdered schoolgirl, Milly Dowler, believe their phones, as well as their daughter's, were hacked.
The inquiry also heard that celebrities such as Charlotte Church and Hugh Grant have encountered problems with the media relatively recently.
The BBC's Nick Higham reports.
