JK Rowling felt 'twist in the stomach' on being watched

Author JK Rowling has spoken of the threat she felt on realising that journalists were camped outside her house in the hope that a story would emerge.

The Harry Potter creator told the Leveson inquiry into media ethics she felt a "twist in the stomach".

It follows descriptions of intense paranoia experienced by other celebrities, such as the actress Sienna Miller, at being aggressively pursued by journalists.
