TUC's Brendan Barber: Right to take stand on pensions

The secretary general of the Trades Union Congress has accused the government of being inflexible and failing to present all the necessary information in the dispute over public sector pension reforms.

Brendan Barber's comments came ahead of this week's planned strike, which could involve up to two million workers including teachers and border control staff.

Speaking to Jon Sopel on The Politics Show, Mr Barber said there was an enormous sense of frustration among unions, many of which had never taken action before.
