Gary Speed's family 'overwhelmed' by support

Family members of Gary Speed have said they are overwhelmed by the support they have received following his death on Sunday.

The Wales manager was found dead at his home in Cheshire. It is understood that he was found hanged.

His agent and friend Hayden Evans gave a brief statement on behalf of the family.

He offered thanks to the public for their messages of support - and also asked for the family to be left to grieve in peace.
