Battle to restore power after worst storm in 10 years
Efforts are continuing to restore power to almost 60,000 homes in Scotland amid warnings of further severe weather for the north.
Winds on Thursday reached up to 165mph, bringing down trees, closing roads and knocking out power lines.
Bad weather has also affected parts of Wales and Northern Ireland, and caused the closure of roads in Cumbria and North Yorkshire.
