Ice hazard warning for travellers across UK

Severe weather is expected to cause further travel disruption for much of the UK following the snow which swept across many parts of Britain over the weekend.

Many major roads are clear of snow but icy conditions have prompted the Met Office to issue nine severe warnings for ice in parts of Wales and England.

Services at Heathrow airport are expected to return to normal, but the airport is facing criticism after 42% of Sunday's scheduled flights were cancelled.
