The cold snap death toll in Europe has risen

The death toll has continued to climb across Europe as more people struggle to cope with the freezing conditions.

In Ukraine more than 100 people have died.

The country is experiencing its coldest winter in six years.

Parts of the Balkans have also been badly hit as Tom Esslemont reports.
