UK snow: Father delivers baby as ambulance delayed

The parents of a newborn baby have explained how their plans for a home birth were disrupted when heavy snow stopped the midwife from reaching them.

Sarah Watson went into labour on Sunday morning but her midwife called her to say it was too dangerous to drive out because of treacherous conditions on the roads.

Her husband, Steve, ended up delivering the baby instead.
