Harry Redknapp: Tax trial has been a nightmare

Football manager Harry Redknapp and his former chairman Milan Mandaric have been cleared of evading tax on payments made to a Monaco bank account.

Mr Redknapp and Mr Mandaric embraced in the dock as the verdicts were read after five hours of deliberations.

Speaking outside court shortly after the verdict, Mr Redknapp said: "It really has been a nightmare.... This was a case that should never have come to court."
