MP challenged to live on benefits for a week

BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire hosted a debate with an audience of 200 unemployed people in Salford who were given the opportunity to talk directly to the Government.

The panel included Tory MP Sam Gyimah, Lib Dem MP John Leech MP, Shadow Europe Minister Emma Reynolds MP and employment consultant Hayley Taylor.

One audience member challenged Sam Gyimah to try and live on £65 allowance for a week.
