Do the Danish have the right approach to childcare?

As the number of unemployed women in Britain approaches 1.1 million, both Labour and the coalition government are looking at ways to revamp Britain's childcare provision.

It is believed that the high costs of childcare may be preventing many women from returning to work.

In particular, they are interested in what the Danes are doing, where 92% of all Danish one and two-year-olds are in full-time nursery.
