Abu Hamza US extradition backed by European Court

Judges from the European court of Human Rights have ruled that Abu Hamza can be extradited from Britain to the United States to face terrorism charges.

The Strasbourg court dismissed the radical muslim clerics claim that he would face inhuman and degrading treatment if convicted in America.

Hamza is one of five terrorism suspects who have used numerous legal challenges over many years to fight extradition.

Judges said the men can not be extradited until a three-month deadline for a final appeals has expired.
