Ed Miliband: 'Bahrain GP should not go ahead'

Labour leader Ed Miliband has said that he does not think that the Bahrain GP should go ahead, in light of continuing concerns about violence and human rights issues in the Gulf state.

Security forces fired tear gas and stun grenades to disperse anti-government demonstrations overnight on Thursday, in mainly Shia villages around the capital Manama.

Activists have promised "three days of rage" at the decision to hold the Grand Prix and the crackdown on dissent.
