MI6 officer most likely 'poisoned or asphyxiated'

The inquest into the death of the MI6 officer, Gareth Williams, has heard that poisoning or asphixiation were the two most likely causes of his death.

Mr Williams' body was found in a padlocked holdall in his bathroom.

Three pathologists have given evidence at the inquest today, and one said it was likely Mr Williams went into the bag alive.
