Brodie Clark warns against moving border staff

Brodie Clark, the former head of the UK Border Agency, has warned of the risks of moving staff from other sites to Heathrow Airport to cope with increased pressure in the summer.

Mr Clark, who resigned his post after he was accused of relaxing border checks, told BBC Radio's World at One that moving other government staff around would create risks.

He was asked how many more staff would be required to avoid serious backlogs of passengers at border control points.
