Damian Green: Heathrow queues 'unacceptable'

Immigration minister Damian Green has admitted that waiting times for people to pass through immigration at Heathrow in April were "unacceptable".

But, in an interview for BBC News, he also insisted that "decisive action" was being taken to resolve the problem.

His comments came after BAA said that the UK Border Force had failed to meet its target for processing most passengers from outside the EEC within 45 minutes.

The worst wait was on 30 April, when arrivals in Terminal 4 waited for three hours, according to the airport's owner.
