London 2012: 'I was forced out of my flat for Olympics'

Tenants in east London are being evicted from their homes as landlords attempt to cash in on the Olympics, BBC News has learned.

Tenant Ninna Thorhuge claims she was forced to move out of her east London home because of the Games.

She told the BBC the flat she was living in was sold to someone renting out for the Olympics and she was given just two weeks notice to move out.

"Everything is done in the name of the Olympics," she said.

The housing charity Shelter fear the problem will get worse as the Games approach.
