Fire crews faced 'hazardous' Cheltenham house wreckage

An elderly woman has been rescued from the wreckage of a house in Cheltenham.

Emergency services were called to the terraced house in Rosehill Street, near Sandford Lido, just after 1945 BST, following a suspected gas explosion.

Gloucestershire Chief Fire Officer Jon Hall praised the emergency services for their work at a hazardous site.
