Mark Longley on the murder of his daughter Emily
The father of a 17-year-old girl murdered by her boyfriend, who had repeatedly spoken about killing her, has told BBC Radio 5 live that if someone had taken his threats seriously his daughter could still be alive.
Elliot Turner strangled Emily Longley in the bedroom of his house in Bournemouth and was jailed for life on Tuesday.
His parents Leigh and Anita Turner were found guilty of trying to cover up the crime and will be sentenced in July.
Emily's father Mark Longley has been speaking to Victoria Derbyshire.
