Gun salutes mark Jubilee festivities

Gun salutes have echoed across London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast on the anniversary of the 1953 coronation, marking the start of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

At the same time the Queen arrived at Epsom Derby, driving on the race course to kick off the first major event of the Jubilee weekend.
