Pageant master: Weather will not dampen Jubilee spirits

A flotilla of more than 1,000 boats will sail slowly down the River Thames, accompanying the Queen in her Royal Barge as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The vessels participating in the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, which will range from small rowing boats to luxury yachts, will travel seven miles from Albert Bridge to Tower Bridge.

The Pageant Master, Adrian Evans, said the weather would not dampen spirits on the Thames.
