Olympics 2012: Great Britain savours golden day

Great Britain claimed six gold medals and a silver on Day Eight of the London Games to enjoy their most successful day at an Olympics in 104 years.

There were incredible scenes in the Olympic Stadium as Jessica Ennis won the heptathlon shortly before Greg Rutherford pulled off a shock victory in the long jump.

In front of a rapturous crowd, Mo Farah crowned off Britain's "Super Saturday" by winning the 10,000m.
