Four-year-old boy missing in sea in Somerset

The search is underway for a four-year-old boy who is missing in the water at Burnham on Sea in Somerset.

Three lifeboats and a helicopter are searching for the child after the alarm was raised at 6pm on Sunday when the boy went into the sea off a slipway.

Inspector Mark West, from Avon and Somerset Police, said the search would continue through the night.
