Paralympic flame created at Stoke Mandeville ceremony
Four national flames, kindled last week, have been brought together to be carried in a 24-hour relay heralding the start of the 2012 Paralympic Games.
The flames were united in a celebration cauldron on stage at Stoke Mandeville - the spiritual home of the Paralympics.
The torch will be carried 92 miles by a total of 580 torchbearers to the Olympic Stadium in London for Wednesday's opening ceremony.
