Surrey Police: 'We are supporting French led investigation'

Assistant Chief Constable Rob Price of Surrey Police says his force is doing all it can to help the French investigation into the death of four people in the French Alps.

A police search operation is under way at the Surrey home of a British man shot dead in the Alps along with his wife and two others.

Saad al-Hilli died in his car, alongside his wife and a woman thought to be her mother. A French cyclist was found dead nearby.

The head of operations for Surrey police told reporters outside Woking Police Station that his force had deployed family liaison officers in the UK and France to support victims of the incident.
